\nJe r\u00e9pugne \u00e0 \u00e9crire pour un instrument que je ne peux souffrir<\/em>, \u00e9crit Mozart \u00e0 son p\u00e8re en 1778.<\/p>\n

Il aurait m\u00eame dit : qu\u2019y a-t-il plus faux qu\u2019une fl\u00fbte. Il faut se souvenir que les fl\u00fbtes de l\u2019\u00e9poque n\u2019\u00e9taient dot\u00e9es que d\u2019une seule cl\u00e9, et avaient la m\u00eame r\u00e9putation que le pipeau dans nos actuels coll\u00e8ges!<\/p>\n

N\u00e9anmoins Mozart, avant de finir sa vie avec une fl\u00fbte enchant\u00e9e dont la premi\u00e8re repr\u00e9sentation eut lieu deux mois avant sa mort, nous a laiss\u00e9 quatre pi\u00e8ces magnifiques: Un riche hollandais, Britten de Jong, avait command\u00e9 \u00e0 Mozart 3 concertos et 3 quatuors pour la fl\u00fbte.<\/p>\n

Deux concertos seulement furent \u00e9crit (K313 et K314), mais les 3 premiers quatuors ont honor\u00e9 la commande, qui pr\u00e9cisait que les pi\u00e8ces ne devaient \u00eatre ni trop longues ni trop difficiles, car le commanditaire \u00e9tait fl\u00fbtiste amateur et comptait les interpr\u00e9ter lui-m\u00eame.<\/p>\n

Le quatri\u00e8me quatuor a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9crit 10 ans plus tard et \u00e9tait le pr\u00e9f\u00e9r\u00e9 d\u2019Albert Einstein.<\/p>\n
